Jeremy Bolt comes from a musical family with a long history of brass playing. Following in his older brother’s footsteps, he chose to begin the trumpet in the fourth grade. A San Francisco Bay Area native, he participated in every youth musical ensemble he could find, and when he couldn’t, created and led his own. His early-and-varied interests in music led to professional opportunities by age fifteen. Awarded scholarships for both performance and composition, Jeremy went on to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, earning a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Composition, a passion he holds to this day.
A veteran of the Broadway musical pit orchestra, Jeremy has performed in over a hundred productions across the country, and occasionally raises his baton as musical director as well. Some favorites from his repertoire include: In The Heights, West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, and The Wiz.
Jeremy remains busy as a music educator and freelance musician. Currently residing in Sacramento, he has taught in many area schools, and maintains a private lesson studio for all brass instrument players. He is currently the lead trumpet and horn arranger for Chicago Tribute Authority, a top-notch headliner tribute act that is in high demand in the Western United States and Mexico.
